Our Method

What We Do

What Drives Us
We are committed to the success of our families. We believe that in order to break the cycle of poverty, children must have the support of their family and community. We believe that by educating the entire family we can encourage parents to become and remain involved in their child's education, and we can provide the tools and support necessary for children to succeed. Success can mean many different things. It can be improved family environment and interaction; it can be recognition of and adjusting to learning disabilities; it can be improved test scores, graduation rates, or simply a happier, healthier family. Our focus is on success at an individual level for each family that comes through our doors, not the success measured by group testing and statistics. However, follow-up studies of center families show that 95% of parents remain involved in their child’s education and 90% of center children are performing up to their abilities. Further success is indicated by the fact that the high-school graduation rate of center ‘graduates’ is 97% and many of these graduates have gone on to pursue higher education and are employed in various fields.
